“The single story creates stereotypes, and the problem with stereotypes is not that they are untrue, but that they are incomplete. They make one story become the only story.” - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
Zackhi Writes is a blog created by Aleha L. and Zack K, acting as a thought pool regarding the state of our world. Through our perspectives, we hope to shed light on many significant issues. We endeavour to explore the realms of philosophy, politics, history and more – feel free to suggest topics you’d like us to discuss!
Zack | I’m an English Literature student residing in London, currently pursuing my Masters degree. My life revolves around creative writing and reading, finding cats to hug on long walks and rediscovering myself through poetry and painting. I’m an avid player of Minecraft and Undertale, and thoroughly enjoy traversing through nature in my free time. I’ll be delving into a number of topics that relate to my personal life, namely mental health and feminism, and would like to probe the ethical element of our current political climate.
Aleha| I have just finish my master’s degree in forensic Archaeology and CSI. Currently looking for a job in Forensic Science or Chemistry as I have a bachelors degree in Chemistry. I live in a small town in West Yorkshire. Ever since I was a little kid I loved sports and have used it to escape from reality. I enjoy playing and watching a variety of sports especially football. Other passions of mine are history and politics. For a long time, I have held views on a number of issues but had no where to share them in depth. I’m going to try to use this platform as a way to spread my message across and hopefully make this world a better place.
